HORUS DOMINUS is a module dedicated to the command, management, and processing of sensor data for Space Situational Awareness. The system enables the coordination of sensors, management of tracking requests, execution of space surveillance operations, and processing of collected data to support the identification, tracking, and analysis of objects in orbit.

DOMINUS was developed to centralize, within a single operational environment, site and sensor configuration, operational calibration, data acquisition, astrometric and photometric processing, generation of standardized tracking products, and access to operational history.

Integrated into the HORUS ecosystem, the module enhances space monitoring capabilities, reduces reliance on manual processes, and provides structured information to support decision-making in defense, national sovereignty, and orbital surveillance activities.

Tip and Cue

HORUS DOMINUS supports Tip and Cue operations, in which sensors dedicated to space surveillance can detect objects, events, or regions of interest and cue higher-precision sensors for tracking, confirmation, or data refinement. This workflow enables the system to perform an initial detection or alert stage, followed by targeted tracking, increasing operational efficiency and improving the quality of the information obtained.

In a Tip and Cue operation, the module can support the detection of uncataloged objects, confirmation of previously identified objects, target prioritization, generation of new tracking requests, and production of more precise data for orbital analysis. This capability is particularly relevant to space surveillance missions, cataloging of new objects, monitoring of orbital events, protection of space assets, and decision support in defense and national sovereignty contexts.

During Space Situational Awareness operations, different sensors, teams, procedures, requests, data, and results must be coordinated accurately and traceably.
