HORUS CAELI

HORUS Caeli is the space weather monitoring and information consolidation module of the HORUS platform. The solution was developed to centralize, organize, and provide within a single operational environment data, indicators, alerts, forecasts, and specialized products from national and international institutions dedicated to monitoring the space environment. Unlike systems based on proprietary sensors or centers responsible for the primary generation of forecasts, HORUS Caeli operates as an operational intelligence and integration layer over information already produced by organizations specialized in solar, heliospheric, geomagnetic, and ionospheric monitoring.

The module collects information from multiple sources, harmonizes data formats, synchronizes temporal references, consolidates operational indicators, and presents the results through a unified and integrated interface. This approach eliminates the need to access multiple specialized portals simultaneously, allowing operators to maintain a comprehensive and continuously updated view of space environment conditions. The module was designed to support SSA (Space Situational Awareness), SST (Space Surveillance and Tracking), and SDA (Space Domain Awareness) activities by providing situational awareness regarding the potential effects of space weather on satellites, navigation systems, communications, and orbital operations. In essence, HORUS Caeli does not directly monitor the Sun or the space environment through proprietary sensors. Its role is to integrate, organize, and transform information produced by specialized institutions into a unified operational environment, allowing all relevant data to be consolidated within a single operating environment.

Operational Concept

HORUS Caeli operates as a virtual space weather information consolidation center, continuously integrating data from various international organizations responsible for monitoring solar activity and its effects on the near-Earth space environment. The system performs automated ingestion of observational products, operational indices, alerts, bulletins, forecasts, and physical parameters provided by multiple sources. Following acquisition, the data undergo validation, normalization, temporal synchronization, and structural organization processes, enabling information originally distributed across multiple platforms to be presented uniformly and consistently within a single environment.

Through this approach, satellite operators, tracking centers, SSA, SST, and SDA organizations, space agencies, governmental institutions, and operators of critical infrastructures gain access to an integrated view of space weather conditions, allowing them to monitor relevant events, understand their operational context, and assess potential impacts on space-based and terrestrial systems.

Features

The HORUS REENTRY system can be hosted in the cloud or physically within SAIPHER and receives data from various systems that can populate its database. It can be supplied with data from SAIPHER's own sensors or from partner entities and companies. The system utilizes Two-Line Elements (TLE) data to generate predictions of the time and location of reentry, which are then displayed to the user. If more precise information is required, the user can perform tracking using HORUS TRACKING.
