Saipher is attending LAAD Defence & Security, the largest and most significant defense and security exhibition in Latin America. The event brings together manufacturers and suppliers of technologies for the Armed Forces, Police, Special Forces, as well as executives from the defense and security industries and representatives of government agencies.

During LAAD, Saipher is showcasing HORUS (Holistic System for Risk and Uncertainty Reduction), an advanced solution designed to enhance Situational Awareness in Space Operations and Space Warfare. Developed to support both civilian and military space system operators, HORUS enables safer operations by optimizing strategic conjunction avoidance maneuvers — whether intentional or unintentional — while ensuring continuous monitoring of space debris. Additionally, the system provides essential tools for risk mitigation, addressing the increasing density of orbital debris in operational areas.

According to the Director of Business and Innovation, Brigadier José Vagner Vital, Saipher's participation in the 15th edition of LAAD Defence & Security reinforces the company’s commitment to innovation and technological advancement in the defense sector. “LAAD is a strategic platform for knowledge exchange, cooperation, and strengthening partnerships with both civilian and military institutions. Showcasing HORUS at this event is a unique opportunity to demonstrate how this solution enhances Situational Awareness in Space. Given the increasing complexity of space operations and the growing density of orbital debris, advanced tools are essential for effective risk mitigation and precise decision-making,” he explains.

Saipher reaffirms its position as a Strategic Defense Company, delivering solutions that enhance security and efficiency in space operations, contributing to the future of national and global defense.
