Saipher has recently introduced Saipher On Board, its Electronic Aircraft Logbook, a product certified by the Brazilian National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC). Azul Conecta, Saipher On Board’s launch customer, selected the system for the operational and safety advantages it provides. Brigadier José Vagner Vital, Saipher's Director of Innovation and New Business, underscores the importance of this partnership. “The IT team at Azul Conecta strongly contributed with insights to create a highly assertive and robust system", he says.
The Director also reinforces that Saipher On Board brings together all information previously recorded on paper and makes it available in an easy-to-use electronic format. "Furthermore, it offers digital storage in a convenient, accurate, reliable and secure manner. The product can be seamlessly integrated with air traffic systems, AISWEB and third-party APIs", he adds.
Among its key features, Saipher On Board offers integration with air traffic systems, follows an "offline first" approach with automatic online synchronization, secures data in the cloud, allows customization, automates data entry, provides intelligent validation and GPS tracking as well as Software as a Service (SaaS) operation.
